A budget Road Cycle and My family

Being recently clinically diagnosed as medically fat I decided it was time to do something about it. Truly my better half and my health practitioner decided this but I could see logic inside their uttering’s so gave in and registered with a gymnasium.

With the best will cheap road bikes on earth, I’m not really gym material. This was swiftly verified after i packed myself into my trip bermuda and 8 years old Reebok classics and set off on the fitness treadmill machine. 3 minutes later I had to cease, I was hanging out of my arse so went for a frolic in the water instead. This too wouldn’t go well in my opinion; I swim just like a brick, so a further 3 minutes afterwards I was coughing and spluttering and had to quit.

What now? Archery, lawn bowls? All this attention is making me hungry.

Then it hit me, I’m able to ride a bike, surprisingly you won’t ever forget how to make it happen therefore I was keen to test the theory and get energetic in no time, its full proof.

I’ve learned across the years that I’m rather hasty, so instead of rushing out to buy one and never ever put it to use I went and rented one. I live in Lincolnshire so I researched bike hire and wound up at Rutland Water where Rutland Cycling give very affordable bike hire. I picked up a wonderful mountain bike a thing called a Kona and went on my merry way. Breaking no world records I glided like a delicate hippo around this glorious piece of country side. I did a stable nearly a dozen miles and depleted a beneficial morning not feeling foolish due to my attire or deflated due to my absence of fitness so all in all a satisfying and healthier encounter.

Now I wouldn’t go so far as to say I was “simply addicted” but riding a bike would seem like the noticeable selection given my ordeals of the past few days. So yes, I will invest in a bike.

I hauled my way back over to Rutland cycling and so they provided some sound recommendation on what was to fit my requirements the best. I live in the urban centre of Lincoln and would certainly be going around my local estate and presumably into town, should I shed 4 stone. We ultimately came to the conclusion that a Lapierre Audacio would be a excellent basic bike for me. It’s a cheap road bike which is very lightweight carbon forked affair in a tremendous glowing blue colour. I’m not a bike dork so I don’t understand if the pieces on this animal are remarkable, but for what I need its awesome.

So there we have it, I am the proud owner of a great new bicycle have so far lost a stone and feel really much better already. Congratulations cycling, well done.

Rutland Cycling are my best destination for cycling products. They sell and fix bikes all around the seasons so no their stuff. I’m really impressed by their customer services team aswell!
